Nepal has started exporting electricity to Bangladesh from Friday. With the permission of the Central Electricity Authority of India, Nepal’s electricity has started to be exported to Bangladesh through India.
Energy Minister Deepak Khadka, Power Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Adviser to the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources Mohammad Fazul Kabir virtually launched the export of electricity to Bangladesh.
40 megawatts of electricity has started to be exported to Bangladesh from Friday. This will be the only one-day electricity export in Yemen.
