Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, the chairman of the CPN-Maoist Center, has been accused by CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli with trying to sabotage social peace and national unity. Prachanda is portrayed in the political report that was given to the party’s central committee meeting as a person who is causing unrest, disorder, and promoted hopelessness. Along with members of its own provincial legislature, the Maoist Center is creating a front with hardline casteist factions against ‘Koshi’, which was given that name a year ago.
Oli has also said that the Maoist leadership has made elaborate agreements with previous monarchists and publicly supports people and organizations that he personally opposed during his time in power. Congress and the UML’s collaboration has caused unrest among those that profit excessively from their status and investment while also taking pleasure in the instability. Oli cautions that while some parties fear the existential crisis, others fear that cricket will no longer be played in the “Hong Parliament.”
