The king of Jordan says his nation is against forcing Palestinians to leave Gaza after meeting with Trump

Following his White House meeting with King Abdullah II of Jordan, President Trump pushed the concept of expelling Gaza’s inhabitants and converting it into a tourism destination. Jordan and other Arab countries would have to take in more Gaza refugees under this plan, which is unlikely to have a major impact on the Middle East. Following their encounter, Abdullah reaffirmed his objection to this notion.

According to Trump, Jordan would not stop receiving U.S. help until Egypt and Jordan agreed to take in more people from Gaza. Additionally, he stated that Jordan would be open to accepting up to 2,000 Gazan youngsters who are afflicted with cancer or other diseases. According to Ayman Safadi, the foreign minister under Abdullah, his nation is “firm and unwavering” in its opposition to Trump’s proposal to force the people of Gaza to relocate.
