PM Oli inaugurates paper industry

Today, ‘Nepal Pulp & Paper Industries’ was launched by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

The enterprise was opened by Prime Minister Oli at a function held at Gaushala in Mahottari.

It is claimed that once this IME Group-founded factory is up and running, spent paper may be recycled into new paper in Nepal. Imports of paper will decline as a result, and the industry estimates that it will create jobs for around 300 workers.

Nepal uses about 150,000 metric tons of paper per year.
