Tuesday’s House of Representatives meeting will be addressed by CPN-Maoist Center leader Pushpa Kamal Dahal. According to confirmation from the Parliament Secretariat, Prachanda will speak at the meeting at 1:00 PM. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will be in Biratnagar for the Koshi Province Assembly, hence he will not be present. The head of the opposition party’s address in the House of Representatives was just selected yesterday, but Prachanda’s agenda for the assembly was established a week earlier. In an earlier speech to the Parliament on Magh 24, Prachanda had complained Oli’s absence. It is traditional for the Prime Minister to attend and hear the speech of the opposition leader.
