A meeting has been held between Japanese Ambassador to Nepal Maeda Toru and Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra Shah (Balen). The meeting focused on the development and cooperation of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, according to the Embassy of Japan in Kathmandu.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the future development plans of Kathmandu Metropolitan City. In addition, discussions were held on urban planning, infrastructure development, and urban beautification.
Japan has been providing assistance in the areas of environmental improvement of Kathmandu Durbar Square, roads, stone stream reconstruction, multipurpose martial arts, roads, and more.
