The government has decided to recommend to the President to convene a session of the National Assembly. The Cabinet meeting held today decided to recommend to convene the session on Magh 4. Similarly, the government has also decided to approve the Financial Sector Development Strategy 2082-083 to 2086-087, informed Minister for Communications Jagdish Kharel.
According to him, it has also been decided to appoint Govinda Prasad Bhandari as the chairman of Gorkhapatra Sansthan.
The following are the decisions:
– Approval to provide the annual contribution of US $ 283,503 for 2024, which Nepal must pay as a member country of the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICMOD).
– Approval of the Financial Sector Development Strategy 2082-083 to 2086-087.
– To provide financial assistance of US$ 350,000 for the reconstruction of the archives of the Mahamuniphaya Buddhist Pagoda and the Gangaghat Temple in Myanmar, which were damaged by the earthquake of March 2025.
– To approve the National Policy Against Human Trafficking 2082.
– To appoint Shri Govinda Prasad Bhandari, Bhaktapur, as the Chairman of Gorkhapatra Sansthan.
– To recommend to the Honorable President to convene a session of the National Assembly of the Federal Parliament at Singha Durbar, the Federal Parliament Secretariat, on Magh 4, 2082 BS at 11 am.
