Nepali Congress's second special general convention to be extended until Tuesday

The second special general convention of the Nepali Congress is set to be extended until Tuesday. The general convention has been extended until Tuesday as discussions are ongoing on the reports of the two general secretaries.

According to Madhav Prasad Chamlagain, member secretary of the special general convention publicity subcommittee, the general convention, which has been ongoing since Sunday, has been extended until Tuesday.

He has said that the leadership selection will also begin on Tuesday itself. He said, “The discussions on the reports submitted by general secretaries Gagan Kumar Thapa and Bishwaprakash Sharma are ongoing intensively. This process will continue on Tuesday as well. Only then will the leadership selection process move forward.”
