Madhav Nepal files candidacy from Rautahat-1

Nepalese Communist Party co-coordinator and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has filed his candidacy for the House of Representatives election at the office of the Returning Officer of Rautahat Constituency No. 1 today.

Party central member Ram Naresh Mandal is the proposer of leader Nepal’s candidacy and Chandeshwar Raut is the seconder, his personal secretary Laxman Regmi informed RSS. Former Prime Minister Nepal was elected from the same constituency in the previous election as well.

Responding to media persons after filing his nomination, Co-coordinator Nepal said, “I have filed my candidacy with the idea of ending the problems of poverty and unemployment faced by the Nepali people and making all necessary arrangements for that, providing employment and skills to the youth, and making the country’s economy dynamic,” he said.
