Kathmandu, Aug 7: The prices of gold and silver have increased by a slight margin in the local market today. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold has risen by Rs 900 per tola (11.66 grammes) today, reaching Rs 296,900. On the previous trading day, the price of gold was Rs 296,000 per tola. Similarly, the price of silver has increased by Rs 10 per tola, reaching Rs 4,580. The previous day, silver was traded at Rs 4,570 per tola. According to international media, today the price of gold in the international market is USD 4,262 per ounce and the price of silver is USD 58 per ounce.
