Sudurpaschim, Sept 7: Rainfall is continuing in various parts of Sudurpaschim including Kailali and is expected to continue for three more days, according to the Office of Hydrology and Meteorology, Attariya. The weather will remain generally cloudy in most parts of the mountains, hills and Terai from today to through September 9. Moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely in various places during this period. Heavy rainfall has been forecast in some parts of the hills and Terai, and people have been urged to remain vigilant amid the possibility of heavy rain. Light rain is expected in the mountains this afternoon and tonight. Some areas of the hills and Terai are likely to receive moderate rainfall, while one or two places in the hills and Terai could experience heavy rain, according to the Office. Though rainfall is expected to subside on Tuesday, the weather will not be completely clear. Several areas of the mountains and hills, as well as some parts of the Terai, are likely to receive moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning. On Tuesday night, moderate rainfall is possible in a few places across all three regions.
