The Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Centre) has withdrawn its support for the Gandaki provincial government.
Hari Bahadur Chuman, the party’s head, stated that today’s meeting of the parliamentary party resolved to withdraw its support for the provincial government. With the Maoist center withdrawing its support, the Nepali Congress-led provincial government has become a minority. Earlier on Tuesday, Chief Minister Surendraraj Pandey sacked two Maoist Center ministers.
