The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority has filed a case against Rajviraj Madhuvapur, the former project chief of the Office of Intensive Urban and Building Construction, alleging corruption. The case was launched after Rajviraj allegedly failed to follow required protocols when paving a 300-meter road. The Commission has also filed a case against the then-Project Chief, Senior Divisional Engineer Sachindra Kumar Dev, Engineer Madan Rai, and Sub-Engineer Saroj Kumar Yadav, seeking Rs. 347,000.
