The freshly elected 19 members of the National Assembly took their oaths of office and confidentiality today.
The Assembly Vice Chairperson, Urmila Aryal, administered the oath to them during a ceremony hosted by the Federal Parliament Secretariat at the Parliament Building in New Baneshwar.
Vice Chair Aryal gave the National Assembly logo to the new members, and Secretariat personnel handed out study materials.
On January 25, elections were held for the 19 National Assembly Member slots.
Narayan Kaji Shrestha, the Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister, also attended the event.
