India plans to create its own space station by 2035, allowing Indian astronauts to land on the moon’s surface using their own rocket. Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded India’s rising worldwide footprint, adding that the country launched over 400 satellites in the recent decade, up from 33 in the previous decade. He expressed satisfaction that the majority of the equipment utilized in the Gaganyaan mission was manufactured in India, which coincides with India’s developing worldwide economy. Modi also announced the names of four astronauts for India’s first manned space journey, Gaganyaan, which is planned to launch in 2024-25.
