Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has warned that Western countries may propose the “worst solution” to the Ukraine issue at a high-level meeting in France. The rally seeks to reinforce unity and demonstrate willingness to confront Russia in Ukraine. Fico expressed alarm about the West’s comprehensive escalation of the fight, as well as the unrestricted military and financial help that comes with it. He promised not to allow Slovak forces to become engaged in the war, even if it cost him his premiership. Fico intends to consult with Slovakia’s national security council and coalition partners before attending the summit in Paris. The meeting’s goal is to fight the idea that Ukraine is collapsing and to look into ways to do things more effectively and aggressively.
