An Indian citizen was taken into custody

An Indian national was detained last evening at Tribhuvan International Airport after he was found in possession of approximately 855 grams of a yellow, semi-solid substance that resembles gold.

According to Bhim Prasad Dhakal, Deputy Inspector General of Police and Central Police Spokesperson, Sharif Ahmed Abdul Ghafoor, 35, is the guy who has been detained.
He said, “Police have arrested an Indian citizen from the airport with about 855 grams of a yellow semi-solid substance that looks like gold.” He will be sent to the customs office today so that the appropriate inquiry and action can be taken.”

He arrived in Kathmandu from Dubai aboard a Fly Dubai jet, and according to Deputy Inspector General of Police Dhakal, he was detained during his inspection at the arrival tunnel gate of Tribhuvan International Airport while attempting to escape customs and hiding illegally.
