Police inspector Anil Mishra discovered the corpse of Prema Tamang, 35, of Okhaldhunga Khijidemba rural municipality-6, in the yard. “After receiving the news that the dead body of the woman was found on Tuesday evening, the police team from Patta police station reached the place” , said the officer. “There is no clothes on the dead woman’s body, it is believed that she may have died a few days ago.” He stated that the deceased was sent to District Hospital Phaplu for post-mortem. The District Police Office of Solukhumbu has announced that an inquiry into the event has begun. A few days ago, locals alerted the police that women’s clothing and some cash were located on the banks of the Kerung River in Solududhakund Municipality-8. The police investigation began immediately following the announcement. The woman’s body was discovered in an abandoned state, and the authorities are still investigating who the clothing belong to.
