The Indian Serum Institute manufactured the vaccine, which is available through the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (Gavi). To reduce the risk of illness, the government will run a vaccination program for children under the age of 15 from February 13 to Chait 7. The initiative aims to eradicate measles and rubella by 2026. The vaccine is now held at Teku and will be distributed to districts shortly. Measles-rubella symptoms include fever, rash, cold, and eye puffiness. The vaccination is expected to be available in Teku’s central storage area. Last year, the measles-rubella epidemic extended throughout 19 districts.
