Nepal was dismissed for 168 runs in today’s ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League-2 match against Namibia. Nepal lost the toss in the present match at the University of Kirtipur Cricket Ground and were bowled out in 37.1 overs.
Ashif Sheikh led Nepal’s scoring with 58 runs off 64 balls, including eight fours and one six. Similarly, Kushal Malla scored 38 runs, Bhim Sarki scored 26, Kushal Bhurtel scored 18, and Karan KC scored 12. Captain Rohit Paudel, Anil Shah, and Dev Khananal were unable to open their accounts.
While covering Nepal affordably, Namibians Bernard Scholz and Nicole Lofti-Eaton got four wickets each, with Jack Bressel and Gerald Erasmus taking one each. Nepal lost their first match against Namibia by four wickets.
