Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Amir of Qatar, will arrive here on April 23 for a two-day ceremonial visit. During the journey, the Qatari Amir will meet with Nepali authorities to explore ways to strengthen collaboration and a range of areas of mutual interest, according to Mishal bin Mohammed Al Ansari, the State of Qatar’s Ambassador to Nepal. The Qatari Ambassador said that agreements and memoranda of understanding will be inked in a variety of disciplines. Officials have stated that the Qatari Amir’s visit is given high attention, and that concerns concerning Nepali migrants and their rights would be addressed.
