The regular meeting of the Council of Ministers is being held today, Monday. The Prime Minister’s Secretariat has said that the meeting has been called to be held at 3 pm at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar.

A minister said that today’s Council of Ministers is likely to appoint the Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank. ‘The agenda has not been disclosed. But since the post of Governor has been vacant since Chaitra 23, there is a possibility of making an appointment,’ said the minister.

The post of Governor has been vacant since Maha Prasad Adhikari’s term ended on Chaitra 23.
