The Central Committee meeting of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Socialist Party) has been postponed due to the death of party Politburo member and Bagmati Province co-incharge Bidur Sapkota. Sapkota, suffering from a liver disease, passed away at the Helping Hand Hospital in Chabahil. The meeting will discuss strengthening the party’s organization, reviewing ward-level work, contemporary political issues, constitutional amendments, ordinance issues, corruption, and cooperation with opposition parties on issues related to people’s livelihood. His body will be kept at the party central office for tributes.
