College administrator detained in gold smuggling case

Jeevan Kumar Gurung, a college administrator, has been arrested in a gold-smuggling case. Gurung, the executive president of Platinum College in Kathmandu’s Dillibazar Kalikasthan, was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CIB). The arrest came when it was discovered that Gurung was the mastermind behind the smuggling of 14 kg of gold from Dubai. Gurung is preparing to take leadership of the customs agency.
