Every year, young journalists from developing nations are sent to UN headquarters in New York as part of the Reham al-Farra Memorial Journalism Fellowship (RAF) program to cover the opening sessions of the UN General Assembly. The fellowship, which was founded in 1981, provides specialized training programs, media outlet networking opportunities, and a thorough grasp of UN activities. On February 1, 2024, applications for the 2024 RAF Fellowship will be accepted.
