Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba met with Oman’s Minister of Energy and Minerals, Eng. Salim bin Nasser Al Aufi, to discuss Nepal’s energy priorities and potential collaboration. Deuba highlighted the need for sustainable development and the need to switch from fossil fuels to greener forms. Al Aufi also emphasized the need for collaboration with friendly nations like Nepal to achieve Oman Vision 2040 goals. A proposed Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Nepal’s Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation and Oman’s Ministry of Heritage and Tourism.
