House of Representatives: Economic survey submission for the year 2080/81

Despite opposition from the Nepali Congress, Finance Minister Varshman Pun presented the House of Representatives with an economic review for the fiscal year 2080/81. Pun studied economic, social, and sectoral development, as well as governance at the union, state, and municipal levels. He observed improvements in economic and social indices, with agriculture and services likely to boost the GDP by 3.9%. The growth rates of Gandaki, Bagmati, and Lumbini are likely to outpace the national average. The financial sector is likewise doing well, with enough liquidity and a 5.6% growth in private sector loan flow.
