Indian Army Chief Upendra Dwivedi and Nepali Army Lieutenant General Pradeep Jung held a bilateral meeting. General Jung, who is in India to address the United Nations Conference of Heads of State and Government 2025, held sideline talks with Indian Army Chief Dwivedi on Friday.
The Indian Army said that the discussions between the two discussed strengthening defense cooperation, advancing joint training and promoting cooperation in UN peacekeeping operations.
During the meeting, both sides reiterated their commitment to regular defense dialogue and institutional exchanges, and pledged to maintain the enduring partnership and shared values between the armies of the two neighboring countries.
