At the Tokyo Conference 2024, the International Network for Nepali Journalists (INNJA) elected a new leadership team led by Gunaraj Luintel for a four-year term. Bishnu Shital, Tanka Panta, Kishore Sapkota, and Dadi Sapkota make up the new executive committee, which also includes Deepak Rijal, general secretary, and Anand Koirala. The election was unanimous. The new committee also includes Rita Sapkota, Kamal Dhakal, Dhruba Paudel, Bishnu Sharma, Dawa Dhakal, Binesh Khanal, Bijay Thapa, Ankush Nepal, and Khem Bhattachan. The election was announced by an electoral committee led by prominent journalist Bhushan Ghimire.
