The National Commercial Bank Limited and Nepal Clearing House Limited have signed an international transaction agreement to facilitate cross-border transactions between the two institutions. The agreement aims to use digital technology to facilitate transactions between the two institutions, enabling customers of both banks to transact between countries through mobile banking and QR codes. This will make it easier for Indian customers to receive funds from India within Nepal, within the limits and scope set by Nepal Rastra Bank. Transactions will be conducted through Nepal Clearing House (NCHL). The agreement was signed by Devendraraman Khanal, CEO of National Commercial Bank Limited, and Nileshman Singh Pradhan, CEO of NCHL.
