Ireland gave Nepal a challenge of 122 runs

Ireland’s ‘A’ squad played Nepal in the opening Twenty20 series encounter, losing all wickets in the stipulated 20 overs while scoring 121 runs. Stephen Doheny led the way for Ireland with 46 runs, while Matthew Humphries and Liam McCarthy scored 16/16 runs. Fionn Hand scored 11 runs, but the other players failed to reach double figures. Nepal’s Lalit Rajvanshi, Gulshan Jha, and Kushal Bhurtel each got two wickets, while Karan KC and Kushal Malla took one. Nepal is currently batting in response.
