Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the country’s constitution is such that it can accommodate everyone. Stating that the country is moving forward on an inclusive and proportional basis, he said that the constitution is playing an important role.
Addressing the Nepal Muslim Association’s Eid Milan and New Year greeting exchange program on Sunday, he said that although it is difficult for any party to get a majority, it is a constitution that will move forward by accommodating everyone.
‘Our country is moving forward on the basis of inclusiveness and proportionality. The Muslim community is also represented in it,’ said President Deuba, who is also a former Prime Minister. ‘Nepal’s constitution is very good. It is difficult for any party to get a majority. However, there is a constitution that can accommodate everyone.’
He said that many leaders from the Muslim community are also represented in his party and said that this issue is a matter of happiness.
‘The current constitution has played a very important role. Our party also has a proportional statute that is inclusive of everyone within our party. “There are also great leaders from the Muslim community,” Deuba said.
