In order to explore bilateral interests and cooperative efforts, Rob Fenn, the UK ambassador, met with Damodar Bhandari, Nepal’s minister of industry, commerce, and supply. In the hydropower, energy, industrial, IT, and other service industries, Bhandari indicated his expectation that British investment will be made. To improve Nepal’s production capacity and boost exports, he asked for the continuation of technical aid for industry and export commerce.

In sectors including commerce, tourism, investment, energy, infrastructure development, interdependence, and people-to-people interactions, Nepal is dedicated to growing its collaboration with the British government. Ambassador Fenn committed to support Nepali Niyart and the growth of the country’s private sector. In addition to stressing Nepal’s need for a bridge to connect with the global market, he underlined Britain’s support for an open economy.
