The Bay of Bengal Initiative (BIMSTEC) private sector leaders have been requested by Industry, Commerce, and Supply Minister Damodar Bhandari to increase investment and commercial enterprise in Nepal. He emphasized the value of regional collaboration in connectivity, commerce, investment, and tourism. Bhandari emphasized Nepal’s investment potential because of the country’s wealth of natural resources, pleasant environment, rich cultural legacy, and highly skilled labor force. He believed that better market access, value chain integration, development in the private sector, and public-private partnerships would result from the BIMSTEC meeting.
