Minister for Youth and Sports Bablu Gupta has resigned from the post of minister. Minister Gupta resigned from the post after filing his candidacy in the upcoming House of Representatives elections to be held on Falgun 21. “I have now reached Siraha in the process of filing my candidacy. I have sent my resignation to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers via email,” he said. “I have already informed the Prime Minister about my resignation over the telephone.”

He was given the responsibility of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the government formed after the Genji movement. In the current government, he was representing the Genji generation.
