Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Maha Prasad Adhikari has declared a monetary policy aimed at facilitating bank and financial institution loan expansion. With a target of 12.5% of loans being distributed in the current fiscal year, the program seeks to improve loan distribution by loosening capital fund arrangements. It is predicted that the broad money supply will be 12%. The policy also covers challenges that the construction industry faces, such as longer loan principle and interest payment terms, rules for loan categorization, and ways to sustain loan losses.
