In the fiscal year 2080/81, 770 industries have been added to the Tourism and Industry Office. 98 industries have been added on the industrial side and 372 industries on the commercial side.
The office has collected Rs 15 lakh less revenue in the year 2080/81 compared to the year 2079/80. The office has collected Rs 51,400 crore in revenue in 2080/81 as against Rs 66,4200 crore in 2079/80.
“Revenue has started to increase after the previous year’s exempted industries and commerce started to be renewed in the current year, in 2080/81, 1,137 industries and 817 commerce have been renewed,” said Office Chief Durgaraj Subedi.
Similarly, in 2081/82, 33 have been registered on the industrial side, 34 on the commercial side, 56 on the commercial side and 16 on the commercial side. At present, 397 industries have been renewed in the city in the month of August and 174 in the month of August, while 327 and 211 industries have been renewed in the city in the commercial side.
