President Ram Chandra Poudel received tika prasadam from the Navadurga Temple in Bhaktapur on the last day of Kojagrat Purnima. The temple’s assistant naikas, including the original priest Ramesh Karmacharya, presented the prasadam to Poudel.

The President also visited the statue of Navdurga Devgan and offered offerings to the 28 Devas of Navadurga, the priests, and the original Naikas of Taleju. Narendra Prasad Joshi, the original Naike of Taleju Temple, offered flowers, garlands, and prasadam of Taleju. The temple has been worshipped by kings and maharajas since the Malla period, but it has been broken since 2045. Under Navdurga, various deities are worshipped, including Brahmayani, Maheshwari, Kumari, Vaishnavi, Barahi, Mahakali, Mahalakshmi, Tripurasundari, and Bhadrakali.
