Nepali Communist Party Coordinator and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has arrived in Rukum East today. Prachanda has reached Rukum East today to register his nomination for the upcoming House of Representatives elections to be held on Falgun 21.
Chairman Dahal is scheduled to register his candidacy tomorrow, Tuesday, and return to Kathmandu on Wednesday, informed Tej Bahadur Oli, District In-charge of Nepali Communist Party Rukum East.
Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Rukum East, Kevendra Gautam, said that the people of Rukmeli are excited about the development of the district when the former Prime Minister contested the election from this district. He said that this district, which is known as the birthplace of the People’s War, expects the development of the district to take a height with the arrival of Prachanda in the election field.
