The Nepali Communist Party (Maoist) has released its election manifesto, including issues such as the need for the state’s economic policies to uplift the economic condition of the poor.
The party held a press conference today in the presence of General Secretary Netra Bikram Chandra ‘Biplav’ and released the manifesto for the upcoming election of members of the House of Representatives to be held on Falgun 21. The party, which is participating in the election for the first time after entering peaceful politics, has resolved to end the capitalist, broker and imperialist policies and culture and close the gap between the rich and the poor. General Secretary Chand said that education and health should be made accessible to all and employment should be ensured, and the private sector should not be given the freedom to do anything by setting arbitrary fees.
He stressed on making agriculture self-reliant and increasing investment in science and technology and attracting youth. The party has committed to making the country prosperous by increasing trade and investment.
