Nepal’s President Ramchandra Paudel has swore in Upendra Yadav, the newly appointed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, and Navalkishore Sah Sudi, the Forest and Environment Minister. The Council of Ministers was created on the Prime Minister’s recommendation, in accordance with sub-section (9) of Article 76 of Nepal’s Constitution. The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister were sworn in during a ceremony at the President’s Office. The ceremony was attended by Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Speaker Devraj Ghimire, former Prime Minister and Chairman of CPN UML KP Sharma Oli, and former Prime Minister and Chairman of CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal.
