KP UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has registered his candidacy. He has registered his candidacy from Jhapa-5 for the upcoming House of Representatives election to be held on Falgun 21.
Oli was elected from the same constituency in the previous election as well. Senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Balen Shah has also registered his candidacy in this constituency. He resigned from the post of Kathmandu Mayor and became a candidate from Jhapa-5.
