SANN NewsThe Foreign Employment Tribunal has sentenced Lal Bahadur Lama, the director of Star Shipping Service and Training Center Pvt., to prison for foreign employment violations. Eight hundred and 45 persons, including Angpasang Sherpa, filed a complaint against Lama seeking Rs.. After assessing the risk posed by the defendant, the tribunal granted an order keeping Lama in custody for further investigation. The order highlighted Lama’s testimony, receipts and checks for cash attached to a missile, and bank vouchers proving the informants transferred the funds to the defendant’s bank account. Lama was detained on January 16 and has said that he is willing to return the money.
