Progressive Democratic Party announced from National Assembly House

The Progressive Democratic Party has been announced by uniting NSP (New Power), Progressive National Campaign, and Santosh Pariyar, who left the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

The new party was announced at a unity program organized at the National Assembly House in the capital on Sunday. The party’s election symbol, NSP New Power, is the eye, which has been used by the party. It is also said that the party will have a 7-member presidium.

On Kartik 28, an agreement was reached to unite between the Nepal Samajwadi Party (New Power), led by Baburam Bhattarai, the Progressive National Campaign led by Janardan Sharma, and Pariyar, who rebelled from the RSS.
