As part of the agricultural development initiative, Nepal has begun exporting vegetables to Qatar through the China Foundation for Rural Development Nepal Office. During the program’s initial phase, about 2,000 kg of veggies from Kathmandu’s Dakshinkali Municipality were shipped to Qatar. Farmers received specialized instruction and the agricultural supplies they needed from the China Foundation to produce vegetables. The items were well-liked in the Qatari market and guaranteed freshness and quality. They included flat beans, bitter gourd, red cherry pepper, and chile.
