The Chamber proposes that the Minister of Industry establish export houses in all seven provinces

The Nepal Chamber of Commerce, a collection of private sector entrepreneurs and merchants, has urged Damodar Bhandari, Minister of Industry, Commerce, and Supply, to establish export houses in all seven provinces to promote domestic manufacturing. The organization, led by president Rajendra Malla, offers a one-door approach for exporting that incorporates promotion, marketing, and quality monitoring of local products. The Chamber also advocates for remittances for the productive sector, as well as a policy structure to foster investment and economic growth. The Chamber also wants Bhandari to address rules and regulations that impede foreign investment and to revise portions of the Black Market Act of 2032.
