According to Finance Minister Dr. Prakasharan Mahat, the Nepalese economy is becoming more dynamic and is on track to recover. He underlined the importance of collaborative efforts from all sectors, including the commercial sector, the media, the government, civil society, and the general public, to strengthen the economy. Mahat underlined the need of repaying loans from banks and financial institutions at all costs, and he urged the media to spread favorable economic news. However, he also stated that positive economic statistics had not reached the ordinary populace. The private sector has urged simplifying rules and regulations for an investment conference in February, while the National Cooperative Federation has emphasized the importance of increasing private sector morale. The role of IMAN the country’s economic development has also received recognition.
