The ‘Ordinance to Amend Some Nepal Acts on Investment Facilitation, 2081’, proposed by Industry, Commerce, and Supply Minister Damodar Bhandari, has been accepted by the Nepal House of Representatives. The ordinance, adopted during the Investment Conference-2081, seeks to change investment facilitation policies and laws. The proposed measure contains greater registration for start-up enterprises, longer operation periods, and clarity on foreign investment knowledge transfer, contract manufacturing difficulties, and concessions for special economic zone sectors.
