A meeting of top leaders of Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, and CPN-Maoist Center is scheduled for Monday at 4 pm in Singha Durbar. The main opposition party leader, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, is scheduled to visit Kathmandu for discussions on the transitional justice TRC.
Prime Minister KP Oli has stated that efforts are being made to contact Prachanda Prachanda, who is involved in the postal route-focused Tarai Madhesh Jagran Abhiyan. The government is committed to completing the remaining work of the peace process by appointing officials of the Commission of Inquiry on Enforced Disappearances and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. However, Oli has been unable to contact Prachanda due to health issues. Prime Minister Oli’s expert advisor Agni Kharel has also reached Khumaltar to discuss the TRC issue.
