At the Council of Ministers meeting of the Lumbini Provincial Government, four decisions were taken. The first is to provide the Provincial Infrastructure Development Authority a budget of Rs 30 million to build Ujirsingh Stadium. Formerly run by the Ministry of Social Development, the initiative is now run by the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Because Asoj 18 falls within a forest, the project will also make advantage of the forest space there.
Experts from the Provincial Infrastructure Development Authority’s high-level steering group also resigned, according to the meeting. The Council of Ministers has approved the first change to the River Management Procedure within the Forest Area, 2081, and the third amendment to the Provincial-Level Madrasa Education Management Procedure, 2076.
